Ah Loong Grilled Fish Seafood Restaurant @ Jinjang Utara. Lastly, Yin Yong Squid @ RM24 that is made up of Fried Baby Squid and Fried Calamari with Creamy Butter Sauce. Since I have had similar fried baby squids in other restaurants that taste considerably much better, this is only somewhat average to me. The crunchy texture they pack alone could not make up for the lack of flavor and over-dryness. Luckily, the calamari was there to save this dish. The accompanying sauce was simple but creamy with a delightful flavor that whets your palate.

A lot dry shrimps and surprisingly with pork fat oil/ crispy pork lard and oil (猪油渣/Zhu You Zha). Always eat this dishes, first time see got zhu yau zha. LIEONG KEE BAE GOOD TEH 良記早市肉骨茶, Jalan Development, Taman Kepong. It's important to note that the style of Bak Kut Teh here might not appeal to everyone, especially those who have a particular liking for Klang style. The soup here is clear with a very faint herbal flavor, extremely garlicky and tastes quite sweet.
Pork tendon is Lieong Kee specialty and I can't recommend it enough. Make no mistake though the pork tendon here does not come from the knuckle but from the loin section. Because of that they are slightly meaty with a crunchy texture just imagine biting into a thick slice of bacon.

Jalan Transfer, Penang. Meet Malaysia's answer to Eggs Benedict the humble Roti Bakar. Simply put literally, it's eggs on toast but on a sensory level it transcends that definition. Two perfect half-boiled eggs sitting atop skillfully charred freshly baked Benggali bread slathered with margarine and sugar. As a result of a longer baking process vis-a-vis white bread, Benggali bread is much more fluffier and airy. This shone through in the toast. This shone through in the toast. Crunchy on the outside yet fluffy and airy on the inside. I've never had toast and eggs quite like this before!
