Don't Forget Wash All Down

Don't Forget Wash All Down
Petaling Jaya Khunthai Restaurant
Been here a couple of times & they never disappoint. Good variety of Thai dishes made with fresh ingredients. Slightly on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Make sure you start off with their tom yam. Spicy with chock-full of seafood goodies. Other notable mentions would be the chilli lime or salted egg squid, glass noodle salad, thai style siakap & steamed lala. Heard their other seafood dishes are just as good. Don't forget to wash it all down with their umbra juice. Very fresh & tasty. Great cure for the spice.
The overall atmosphere is average. Mostly outdoor wooden seating with plants all around. Cosy but a bit dark & mosquitoes might be a problem at times. Service is average. Food does come out pretty quick.

Food Eat In Kepong

Food Eat In Kepong
Best Restaurants & Food to Eat in Kepong. DOUBLE SEVEN NIGHT ‘DAI CHAO' 孖柒夜市大炒. Double Seven's dai chao stall has been our go-to place for whenever we feel like having a proper meal, yet won't put a dent in the wallet. The Fish Head Curry here is a favorite of mine and it's also available in Toman fish slices.
For RM20 you get a generous serving with loads of vege thrown in, so much so that you don't even need to order a separate vege dish. Other recommended dishes include lemon chicken, salted egg squid and kangkung belacan. Restoran Double Seven, Jalan 3/36, Taman Sri Bintang.

Off The Main Road
Unkaizan at Langkawi enjoys a hillside location with stunning sunset views over the Andaman Sea. We found out about Unkaizan through TripAdvisor. It is situated slightly off the main road, on a very steep part of the hill, which made parking the car very interesting. We noticed that some of their wait staff were actually Japanese and immediately we felt, okay, we may end up having a really authentic Japanese experience. Starting with warm towels and green tea with oomph, things were looking promising.
