Don't Forget Wash All Down
Petaling Jaya Khunthai Restaurant
Been here a couple of times & they never disappoint. Good variety of Thai dishes made with fresh ingredients. Slightly on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Make sure you start off with their tom yam. Spicy with chock-full of seafood goodies. Other notable mentions would be the chilli lime or salted egg squid, glass noodle salad, thai style siakap & steamed lala. Heard their other seafood dishes are just as good. Don't forget to wash it all down with their umbra juice. Very fresh & tasty. Great cure for the spice.
The overall atmosphere is average. Mostly outdoor wooden seating with plants all around. Cosy but a bit dark & mosquitoes might be a problem at times. Service is average. Food does come out pretty quick.

Tom Yam Soup

Tom Yam Soup
Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant. The signature coconut tom yam soup – simply tom yam soup scooped into the depths of young coconuts – is seen on most tables. A pile of prawns, squid and vegetables outdo the volume of soup, and when eaten together, the result is sour-spicy from the tom yam, but also sweet from the remnants of coconut water. Once you've reached the bottom of the coconut, make sure to scrape the soft coconut flesh that takes a red tinge from the soup.
To kickstart the hands-only seafood binge in orderly fashion, the kam heong lala was first in line.

Kam Heong Lala
Yoke Heng Restaurant Serdang Seri Kembangan
Kam Heong Lala
The aroma from this dish was so inviting and tempting. It had lots of bird's eye chillies in it and the way they cooked this was definitely good. There was no fishy smell in this dish and the meat was tough, chewy just like how i like it to be smile Oh, and there was a lot of garlic in this. It added to the fragrance of the dish itself.
