Make Sure You Bring

The nicest hiking path on Green Island is called Kuoshan Ku Tao Trail (Guoshan Gu Dao). The trail starts behind Nanliao Village and goes all the way to the east side of the island (1.8km). The highest point on Green Island is Mt.

Huoshao, a 281m high extinct volcano. You can't reach the top because it's occupied by a military post, but there are some trails which surround it. Make sure you bring plenty of water for your hike. The weather really gets hot down there in the summer months.

Heard ppl said Temerloh famous eating river fish because near Kuantan River, biggest river in west Malaysia. Try to find best restaurant eating wild river fish. Last time found Restaurant Delight, not nice.

Somemore the boss said not wild patin. It is raised up patin. But Restaurant Delight near the East Coast Highway. Restaurant Lee Keng Sang is 40 mins drive from East Coast Highway but worth it. Price cheaper and restaurant more big & luxury.

Coast Peninsular Malaysia

Most states along the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia are famed for their keropok lekor (fried fish cakes), with visitors buying tons and tons of packets (of raw keropok) home. The keropok lekor in Pahang is slightly different to those in the northern states of Terengganu and Kelantan— the variety here is sliced and individually kneaded with flour before frying; giving it an extremely crispy outer layer, while remaining soft and fluffy inside.

Location: Cherating Tanjung Tengah, Sungai Karang (Balok). Operating Hours: About 12pm-6pm, daily.

I have been part of the East Side Mysore Club for over 10 years now, and I cannot overstate how much I appreciate and love our communal Mysore yoga practice. For around 10 years we all met and practiced at Pure Yoga, but about a year ago the group decided to move to a more amenable and welcoming environment at House of Jai.

David Hollander, the main leading instructor, is a special kind of teacher, for he possesses a truly systemic understanding of yoga that spans not only the physical aspect of the asanas.
