Fish Roe Fried Rice

Old Man Restaurant No 5 & 7 Jalan Kajang Impian 1/11 | Taman Kajang Impian, Kajang, Malaysia 012.345 0575 “Good noodles and fried rice” Been there many times for take away, don't be mistaken, it is a proper restaurant on its own. The noodles and fried rice is very good. The kitchen is visible from the outside and you can see many chefs at work. The price is typical for such a restaurant but the food is good.

Highly recommended. “Delicious fish roe fried rice” The specialty here is the fish roe fried rice. The rice is crunchy and with generous topping of fish roe. Absolutely amazing! Besides the fish roe fried rice, we have also tried the fried lotus root, pork ribs and shark bone soup. All are delicious!

Our group doesn't even need to look at the menu anymore as we already know what we want to eat here: Roti Canai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Hainanese Chicken and Saute Kang Kung in spicy Malaysian Shrimp Paste. Order any of those four and you will love it.

This is my go to place for Malaysian food in flushing, pineapple fried rice is must order, "mi ssiam" is Better than pai Thai. Hainanes chicken is little bit light in sauce.

Chinese Fried Rice

First time patronising Moonlight Cake House as a family. We had Chinese Fried Rice, Sambal Nasi Goreng, Curry Chicken, mashes potato n fries - food portions is decent and delicious. They had the standard condiments which go with the meal, eg curry chicken had achar (pickles), requested for a second portion of achar at no charge. Service was fast n efficient, accurate order.

There were many service staff who attend to your requests instantly and they are very friendly. Cakes & pastries - excellent and so many varieties of cakes and bread. We had marble cheese cake n chocolate hazelnut cake. We brought home coconut buns, choc almond donut and home made original kaya :) needless to say, it did not disappoint. Price range RM4 to RM10 (before tax) for the food n drinks we had.

Malaysian-style Fried Rice

This nasi goreng is a pretty simple, but quite a delicious and satisfying dish. It takes a Chinese classic and spices it up a little bit. The magic of this Malaysian-style fried rice lies in the flavorful base, a spice paste of chiles, garlic and shallots. Leftover rice usually works best as it is drier and fries up better.

This dish is a great vehicle for other leftovers as well – you can add leftover chicken, other cooked meats, leftover vegetables and tofu as well. It is a bit of a spicier dish, but you can adjust the amount of chilli or use milder chillies. Or frankly as your kids get older, have them try some spicy dishes (raising the spice level as time passes) – constant exposure will get them eating dishes with more spices/chilli in them. You can add almost anything to your f

Cantonese Fried Rice

Cantonese fried rice Packed with veggies and ham, fried rice makes a simple yet satisfying mid-week meal. This was really tasty. Whole family loved it and went back for seconds! This was yummy and really easy to make!

The kids loved it - also really nice with diced pork (with or without the prawns). I just the cook the pork before everything else and then add it at the end! I don't even bother cooking the rice the day before - if you have a rice cooker you can cook it the same day, let it cool and it's good to go! :)
