Fish Roe Fried Rice

Old Man Restaurant No 5 & 7 Jalan Kajang Impian 1/11 | Taman Kajang Impian, Kajang, Malaysia 012.345 0575 “Good noodles and fried rice” Been there many times for take away, don't be mistaken, it is a proper restaurant on its own. The noodles and fried rice is very good. The kitchen is visible from the outside and you can see many chefs at work. The price is typical for such a restaurant but the food is good.

Highly recommended. “Delicious fish roe fried rice” The specialty here is the fish roe fried rice. The rice is crunchy and with generous topping of fish roe. Absolutely amazing! Besides the fish roe fried rice, we have also tried the fried lotus root, pork ribs and shark bone soup. All are delicious!

Kedai Kopi Shin Lok Jeram

Chinese New Year 2020 come Kedai Kopi Shin Lok at Jeram to buy CNY cookies. Last year brought few to try, very rich in taste. I seldom eat CNY cookies because those cheap one no taste.

Here slight expensive a bit, price around RM 17 to RM 33, the reason is they use high quality ingredient for example using expensive butter. Maybe also nearby many chinese new village, so all done by auntie at home. Seriously all cookies very rich in flavour, for example peanut cookies having rich peanut taste. They also having fried lotus root slices.

Hong Kong Hot Pot

Hong Kong Hot Pot, Bangsar. Pumpkin soup & Sakura pork bone soup.

We had the sakura pork bone soup and the pumpkin soup (RM30 – per pot), which is slightly on the higher price point but both the broths are good. I have yet to try their ma la soup so that warrants another visit. The décor is fashioned to feel as though you're in Hong Kong, minus the part where the waiter passes you the bill as an indication to “get out” once you're done with your meal.

Pork Bone Soup

Coco Steamboat 海底炉. Overall, I do acknowledge their soup based was really delicious and all their seafood is truly fresh. Not to forget their homemade prawn ball and mackerel ball were tangy and tasty too.

As for the price, I would say it is fair because it cost about RM40/pax. it's still a satisfying steamboat experience and we enjoyed the pork bone soup a lot. At the end of the meal, the soup becomes super tasty but not salty, which is why we were able to drink a lot of it without getting thirsty.

Pork Bone Soup

Senthai & Mookata (Thai Steamboat) @ Bandar Menjalara. To keep the tradition alive, charcoal is used as the heat source and also to impart extra flavor into the meat.

For steamboat, the food is cooked in a copper hot pot that took no time to get the soup hot and boiling. Pork bone soup @ RM17 was recommended to us, as it's prepared using the chef's Thai-influenced secret recipe. The taste is actually quite similar to tom yum, minus the intense acidity and spiciness and a lot more aromatic.

3rd Link Bridge

HSR costs money that he claimed Malaysia couldn't afford now but is building the 3rd Link Bridge cheaper? This old man is trying to use this 3rd link bridge to divert public attention on the HSR.

There are 2 issues that he has to complete them otherwise he will not die peacefully : his crocked bridge and national car dream.
