Lenovo Miix 720 vs Lenovo Miix 510. I get between 7 and 8 hours on my 510.

I don't know what the battery life on the 700 is, but for me 8 hours is good enough. I don't play games at all, I work, surf the web and watch some videos on it. I read the Notebookcheck test, and am surprised at them getting only 5 hours while surfing.

Lenovo introduces Miix 510 with lesser specs than Miix 700. I think this also has a smaller battery than the Mixx 700 if i remember correctly. The other thing is, the 510 is a 16:10 display vs the SP4(and Mixx 7x0 line), which has a 3:2 aspect ratio display. It could be an advantage depending on your preference.

If you really don't care about the detachable keyboard, your money might be better spent on something like a cheaper Lenovo Yoga notebook, with a keyboard which folds back behind the screen but doesn't actually detach. The keyboard cover is impressive, but still might frustrate those who spend their days typing.

Lenovo Miix 720 keyboard it's actually one of the best slimline keyboards I've tested. Bought myself an 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 710 for travel – for less than $999 – I have to say I prefer its keyboard over the Miix's keyboard, even though the Lenovo Yoga keyboard is a tad small

Lenovo Miix 510 Pro 80U10006GE, My unit came with an Intel i5 6200U CPU. I was pleasantly surprised how fast and quick the system felt. Everyday tasks like web browsing, using Microsoft Office, doing emailing, videos.

I then moved onto other things, and started coding. I used Visual Studio Code for a simple HTML5 game, and the development experience was very nice, no hickups whatsoever. Then went on to install SQL Server and Visual Studio Enterprise to do some real work I would do with a computer everyday. And it still performed great.
