Lenovo introduces Miix 510 with lesser specs than Miix 700. I think this also has a smaller battery than the Mixx 700 if i remember correctly. The other thing is, the 510 is a 16:10 display vs the SP4(and Mixx 7x0 line), which has a 3:2 aspect ratio display. It could be an advantage depending on your preference.

Miix 510 vs Miix 720 is the display better on miix 720 having QHD+ (2880 x 1920) configuration; six times as many pixels as a standard HD screen.

While CPU, RAM and storage options are a bit limited, this is because the Lenovo Miix 510 is positioned as a mid level device, with the recently announced Lenovo Miix 720 taking top spot in the Miix lineup. The device feels solid and build quality is great.

It keeps the stand firm and in place. It can open up to 150 degrees, which lets you set up a wide range of positions to work with the computer.

Lenovo Miix 720 vs Lenovo Miix 510. I get between 7 and 8 hours on my 510.

I don't know what the battery life on the 700 is, but for me 8 hours is good enough. I don't play games at all, I work, surf the web and watch some videos on it. I read the Notebookcheck test, and am surprised at them getting only 5 hours while surfing.

Lenovo Miix 720 vs Lenovo Miix 510. The difference in battery capacity itself is negligible, Miix 510 is 39Wh, Miix 7x0 is 41Wh.

But according to Notebookcheck (who state 50Wh, which is likely just an error on their side), actual battery life on the 510 is worse than the 700. That 15W U-class CPU seems to take its toll on the battery the way Lenovo is managing it.

If you really don't care about the detachable keyboard, your money might be better spent on something like a cheaper Lenovo Yoga notebook, with a keyboard which folds back behind the screen but doesn't actually detach. The keyboard cover is impressive, but still might frustrate those who spend their days typing.

Lenovo Miix 720 keyboard it's actually one of the best slimline keyboards I've tested. Bought myself an 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 710 for travel – for less than $999 – I have to say I prefer its keyboard over the Miix's keyboard, even though the Lenovo Yoga keyboard is a tad small
