Super High Index

my lens never last more than 1 year because i wash everyday & wipe when blur, so after 1 year the lens start to show those foggy thing where the coating peels off. i don't use coatings or whatever just normal hoya lens.

this is the reason i don't go for super high index or transition lens because for just 1 year it's not worth adding all these in. even the scratch resistance will also start to peel. unless go for glass which is heavy & fragile.

Stays In Place Without

Owndays Glasses, Singapore. This is my frame: OE2513, more of a rectangular shape that is similar to my old pair. I chose air ultem for its weight, flexibility and durability but kinda regretted my choice.

My pair costs $278, $178 for the frame plus basic lenses and additional $100 for the super high index (1.67) lenses which are thinner so it's not exactly cheap if you have higher degree. I am still fascinated by the flexibility of the frame. I find that wearing this doesn't leave marks on my nose bridge area and stays in place without slipping down as much as my previous pair.

Really Hard Find

They have both Futsal courts and badminton courts for both futsal and badminton players. They have 4 futsal courts whereas the number of badminton courts, i'm not too sure as I have not played badminton here before.

Price here is quite reasonable but the only problem when you're headed here is parking. When they're crowded, it's really hard to find parking so sometimes people park along the side of the main road, the only reason why I don't come here much.

Liquid Applied Waterproofing

Putting the third party factors aside, these leakages re-occur commonly due to the peels off of the waterproofing layer (adhesion issue), waterproofing layer blister / bubble (breathability issue), cracks of the waterproofing layer (elasticity issue). VSEAL recently has introduced the Ultimate Waterproofing Solution to address the issues mentioned above.

This solutions is using the liquid applied waterproofing method.

Easiest Way

“The common fear is it peels off easily. Wallpaper peels off simply because of the moisture level of the wall,” he explained, adding that the easiest way to test the moisture level is to stick a piece of a plastic wrap on the wall overnight.

He said if condensation appears, then moisture is present, and this has to be resolved before applying wallpaper.

Way Back

Apart from going all the way back to the shop, is there any way to know what type of Hoya lens I got on my prescription glasses? And the transition from clear to dark took on my glasses is a bit longer to turn dark as compared to my friend's Carl Zeiss transition.

And mine doesn't turn dark while driving.

Peel Off

Hoya lens is overrated and overpriced, they are made in kepong or thailand if they claimed is oversea. Their coating peel off easily, and their latest blue control coat made many drivers suffer while driving at night.

Shops like to sell it because high profit margin and hoya offer shops free oversea tour and fitter incentive. RM 570 you paid can easily get a mid index crizal forte transition 7, super fast in changing color and very good coating. But it wont turn dark in car unless u buy a more expensive transition extra active.
