Fixed Mounted Hollow Tube Design

The Ultra Racing rear strut braces are fixed mounted hollow tube design bars used for chassis strengthening purposes. Rear strut bars are designed to improve vehicle safety and handling, they also greatly increase vehicle stability during heavy braking by reducing the force applied to the suspension components of the car.

Rear strut bars are also very effective in front wheel drive cars by reducing understeer during fast paced driving conditions. Ultra Racing pay very high attention to all of their rear bar products during development.

Thread Wear Pretty Fast

Quieter than other tyres I've had. Grippier in the dry and wet. Very progressive cornering, especially for a front wheel drive. I finally had something approaching the fuel economy advertised, so I assume the rolling resistance is pretty good.

I have to say, these Dunlop SportMaxx RT tyres fit perfectly on medium-sized cars. Only concern is tread wear since the material used is soft. If only the tread wear was much slower, it would be of a desirable result. The good grip and quiet tyres makes my rides smooth, something I would look out for in a tyre. Thread wear is pretty fast.

Series Active Tourer

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer The BMW F45 2 series AT is quite an interesting car. For one, this is the first ever front wheel drive BMW, and with a transverse engine, which is quite un-BMW. For a start though, one thing BMW did get right here was the interior. Being a CBU car from Germany, it is really well made inside, considering the pricepoint.

In fact, I would say the overall quality is even nicer than the F20 1 series. The cabin itself is a nice place to be, this being the base model only has the Sensatec seats, but by no means is this bad. In fact I would prefer these seats over the Dakota leather trimmed seats that BMW usually uses. Good visibility is also another thing I really like, with the short front overhangs and the large glass area all around.

Front Wheel Drive

In the event your car gets towed, take extra caution on how it's done. Your powered wheels must never be on the road when towing.

For instance, on a front wheel drive car, you will lift the front wheels and leave the back wheels on the road. By towing your powered wheels, you could spoil the suspension and cause persistent problems for your car.

Ultra Racing Lower Braces improve vehicle rigidity which reduces understeer in front wheel drive vehicles. These fit across the base of the vehicle, usually across the front or rear subframe to remove any chassis twisting during acceleration and fast cornering increasing the handling performance and predictability during fast road and track use.

These will also improve the safety of the vehicle by stiffening and strengthening the chassis.

Front Wheel Drive

As most modern cars go, car manufacturers employ the FF (Front engine, Front wheel drive) setup for improving driver and passenger safety. The natural behavior of an FF car is to have a slight understeer, due to its heavier front end.

Understeer happens when the front wheels lose their traction and won't turn any sharper, even when the steering is being corrected to turn the car more. This will cause the car to go wide instead of following the line. Understeer can be corrected by stiffening the rear end of the vehicle by adding a Rear Strut Bar
