I arrived at the resort, which is next to a lake & very pleasant & checked in before finding out that I was the only guest & the restaurant was closed. Local food was available only a couple of hundred metres away - but only if I was prepared to swim, otherwise it was a 1.5km walk. I settled in & started walking during which time there was a deluge of biblical proportions which was still going strong an hour & a half later when I was on my way back.
