Restoran Hoi Yin
Skip the McDonalds and Starbucks in Teluk Chempedak and make your way to Restoran Hoi Yin by the hillside to sample one of the best curry mee in town. The aromatic curry is packed with all the goodness a bowl of noodles has to offer, from fresh cockles to generous amounts of tofu. This mom-and-pop shop has been a mainstay for decades so expect heavy crowd on weekends. Address: Restoran Hoi Yin, No 31 Jalan Teluk Chempedak, 25050 Kuantan, Pahang.

Help Nourish
I always blend custom peels and masks using organic, edible ingredients. You can do this at home with many fruits and vegetables already found in your fridge or pantry. For example, the best hydrating mask from your kitchen would be yogurt and cucumbers mixed in a blender. Cucumber is the champion of hydrating vegetables. Also, a yogurt and honey mask would be beneficial because of the probiotics and lactic acid they contain, which help nourish and hydrate the skin. Another wonderful mask is a blend of watermelon and cucumber mixed with honey.

Most Popular
This is one of the most popular places in Kuantan to have curry noodles— my childhood friends and I used to come here a lot back then. It's at an ideal location too; right next to Kuantan's main beach, Teluk Chempedak. The place gets packed during breakfast time, so go early or you may be disappointed– it runs out by 10-11am. The curry broth here is mildly spicy and creamy, but if you want that extra punch, add in some additional chili sambal sauce. Location: No. 31, Jalan Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan.
Operatings Hours: 7am-2pm. Closed on Monday

Curry Mee
I've heard a great deal about the (halal) curry laksa at Hoi Yin and the shop gets packed by 10am. It's best to go early as they run out of curry mee fast. The noodles are available in 3 sizes; Jambo, Besar and Kecil. Each bowl comes with steamed chicken, cockles, bean sprouts and tofu puffs. Hoi Yin Curry Laksa

Ana Petai Ikan Bakar Kuantan
Ana Petai Ikan Bakar Kuantan grill fish cheap, fresh and real grill. Strong grill smell together with the leave smell. This call real grill fish. Taste like smoked until it cook. Very confuse, just eat like that, it already very tasty but the 2 sauces also very nice. A bit sour help to increase appetite. Not so spicy, i guess suitable for kids.

Jalan Bunga Raya
Cockle stalls in Jalan Bunga Raya (longkang siham)
Strange, but all they have in order to cook this tasty food are two pots of boiling water, a few strainers and a chopping board. While waiting for your food, you can try one of the different sauces or eat seashells. It's a little bit exotic way to eat for tourists and a great way to have quick and delicious lunch in Malacca.
Among seashells there is a star dish like Cuttlefish with Kangkung (can be ordered either with boiled or grilled cuttlefish) and, of course, the fat and bloody cockles
It's actually cheap to eat like this and you can enjoy a lot of different seafood there. Each plate of cockles/lala/snail costs flat RM1.50.
