Earns The Top Ten Reviews

The Apple MacBook Pro 15 inch with Retina display is Apple's entry in the laptop computer category, and it earns the Top Ten Reviews Silver Award. It's one of the top-rated laptops on the market thanks to blend of high-performance components, a deep feature set and a good display.

Apple traditionally lags behind the rest of the industry when it comes to using the latest processors in its laptops. However, it makes up for this slow adoption by using top-performing components, which softens the impact of older hardware by offering similar overall performance.

MacBook Pro. The screen is also improved with far brighter LED backlighting, an increased contrast ratio, and extended P3 color gamut.

Of course it's also much faster than the outgoing model — which, to be fair, was long due for an update — thanks to latest generation Intel Core i7 processors, Radeon Pro discrete graphics, and SSD options from 256GB to 2TB that are up to twice as fast as before. Of course it lost all USB-A ports and has four Thunderbolt 3 ports instead which, on the bright side, lets you power two 5K displays simultaneously. It does still have a headphone jack.

Sd Memory Card Slot

On the right side of the Apple MacBook Pro 15 laptop you'll find one USB 3.0 port, an HDMI output and an SD memory card slot. On the left is Apple's MagSafe power connector, along with two Thunderbolt 2 ports that do double duty as both miniDisplayPorts for external displays and high-speed data transfer ports for Thunderbolt-equipped peripherals.

A second USB 3.0 port offers connectivity for flash drives and other accessories. You won't find any USB-C ports, however, as Apple only offers those on the smaller 12-inch MacBook at the time of this writing.

Dell XPS 13 (2015) The new Dell XPS 13 is close to perfect. It is an immaculately crafted piece of technology and the best ultrabook I have tried this year. While Windows ultra-thin laptops were originally made to compete with Apple's MacBook Air, the latest XPS 13 makes the Air look stodgy. Slimmer and lighter than the 13-inch MacBook Air, the XPS 13 also has a smaller footprint.

It is about the size of a laptop with a 12-inch screen, but has a 13-inch display. It is the screen - bright, vivid and almost borderless - that is the XPS 13's standout feature. Dell said the bezel is 5.2mm thick, but it looks to me as if someone simply outlined the display with a black marker. Inside the XPS 13 is a new fifth-generation Intel Core i7 chip. Though more capable than the low-powered Intel Core M

Long Battery Life

Dell XPS 13 is powerful too. Since it runs on Intel's newest processors, it boots up quickly and offers long battery life. With mixed usage, which included browsing the web, doing light work in Google Drive, and streaming content from Netflix, the laptop lasted for about nine hours. That's impressive, especially since I had to leave the display brightness at its highest setting during the majority of the time I used it.

The glossy screen can sometimes produce glare, and the keyboard could be better. That's about it. XPS 13 is one of the best you can buy. If you want a 13-inch screen, this is the smallest laptop you'll find with a display of that size. it's one of the only Windows laptops that can stand up to the MacBook Air in terms of sheer looks.

UAG Ice Rugged MacBook Pro Case. Apple MacBook Pro is definitely no Toughbook. But it turns out all it needed was a little help.

The UAG Ice Rugged MacBook Pro Case fits the fourth-gem MacBook Pro i.e. the one with the Touch Bar in both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes and adds drop test protection that meets military standards (MIL STD 810G 516.6 if you're keeping track, which tests for repeated four-foot drops on plywood over concrete). The shell's main components are transparent and coupled to black rubber corners for shock absorption and grip too, because these things bare are rather slippery.

Dell Xps 13

Even though the DELL XPS 13 is a bit cheaper than the MacBook Air, it's one of the few Windows laptops that can actually stand up to Apple's in terms of design. The lid and underside of the laptop are made of brushed aluminum, giving it a polished and premium look. When you open it up, you'll notice the keyboard deck is coated with a soft carbon fiber material, which makes it comfortable to rest your wrists as you type. Generally speaking, the keyboard is sturdy enough to make typing easy and enjoyable.

But, if you're being picky like me, you'll notice the keyboard flexes a little bit when you press down on it. It's a minor complaint, but one worth noting. During normal use, the Dell PS 13 performed smoothly and quickly. Apps usually launched within two to three seconds

Feel Right Home

12-inch MacBook, It's almost impossibly thin, measuring just over 13mm at its thickest point. It's even more impossibly light, weighing just over two pounds. That's about a full pound less than the 13-inch MacBook Air and a third of a pound less than the 11-inch Air. And that weight is perfectly distributed across the deck of the laptop and the screen.

It's so well-balanced that it feels lighter than it actually is. People who use the 11-inch Air are going to feel right at home, and actually people who use the 13-inch Air will, too. It just feels like the ideal size for a small laptop, perfectly fitted to a full-sized keyboard and not a whit bigger. Apple also redesigned the hinge so that it is made of metal, increased the size of the trackpad, and moved the speakers

Apple Macbook Air

APPLE MACBOOK AIR Phenomenal battery life, over 12 hours in most conditions. Respectable performance thanks to Intel's new Haswell processor. Same .68-inch thick, super light-chassis. Best keyboard and trackpad out there.

Better networking performance with 802.11ac support. No Retina display yet. For some, lack of Ethernet port or optical drive may be a deal-breaker. Gets expensive once you max out the SSD and RAM.

2015 12-inch MacBook, But let's stick with the inventions for now, because they truly are remarkable. It starts with the keyboard, which is shallower than what you might be used to.

Underneath each key is a butterfly mechanism, a "steel dome" that registers your keystrokes, and an individual backlight for every single key.

Ipad Pro

Inateck 13-13.3-Inch MacBook Sleeve. The new iPad Pro is so large, it will actually fit comfortably in a lot of existing 13-inch MacBook accessories.

One great example is this cool sleeve with carrying handle. It's a fairly thin carrying sleeve, so your iPad Pro shouldn't rattle around too much in there, particularly if you end up getting a hard protective case for it.

Ipad Air

12-inch MacBook The MacBook is what happens when the iPad Air decides to up and grow a keyboard, hinge, and trackpad. It's a thin, compact, and light sliver of a machine with no loose pieces and no unconsidered lines.

The same precision we've seen on Apple's phones and tablets has been applied here — it's genuinely a level above any other laptop Apple has ever made, to say nothing of other hardware makers.
