Lake Kenyir Resort, the resort feels new and very well-kept. The grand architecture of the reception block is very impressive as it wraps around a hillside overlooking the lake. The pool is clean, and with the amazing view, is very relaxing to swim in. A couple of slate tiles at the infinity pool had come off and not replaced, but this was not a major eyesore or safety issue.

My kids loved the water slide. Apart from immersing yourself in nature and doing the nature trips around the lake there is really nothing else much to do. So if you choose to come here, be very sure that you're a nature lover That's important also because inevitably you will be sharing the space with critters that originally inhabit the place - forest ants, mosquitoes (very few), lizards, wasps etc... Cantonese fried rice Packed with veggies and ham, fried rice makes a simple yet satisfying mid-week meal. This was really tasty. Whole family loved it and went back for seconds! This was yummy and really easy to make!

I don't even bother cooking the rice the day before - if you have a rice cooker you can cook it the same day, let it cool and it's good to go! :)
