Lake Kenyir Resort

Lake Kenyir Resort, the resort feels new and very well-kept. The grand architecture of the reception block is very impressive as it wraps around a hillside overlooking the lake. The pool is clean, and with the amazing view, is very relaxing to swim in. A couple of slate tiles at the infinity pool had come off and not replaced, but this was not a major eyesore or safety issue.

My kids loved the water slide. Apart from immersing yourself in nature and doing the nature trips around the lake there is really nothing else much to do. So if you choose to come here, be very sure that you're a nature lover That's important also because inevitably you will be sharing the space with critters that originally inhabit the place - forest ants, mosquitoes (very few), lizards, wasps etc... As for the lake.

Lake Kenyir Resort. Very Nice Place to stay but the food is horrible.

It is a long drive from town, and I would suggest to bring supplies from town if you do not want to venture into town. It is peaceful and very beautiful. Excellent for a weekend retreat.

Most Common Types

Slate is one of the most common types of natural stone used for flooring. It's a metamorphic rock that easily splits into thin sheets, which can then be turned into stone tiles. Like other natural stone materials, slate feels cool to the touch.

It also offers slip resistance, which makes it ideal for high-traffic areas. Its dark finish is modern and rarely looks dirty. In addition, it's also very easy to clean, just like other natural stone flooring is. Slate tiles are also very cost-effective.

Ceramic Tiles

One of tile's many benefits is that it can handle a little humidity. It's also pretty durable when it comes to wear and tear.

And in a sunroom, a tile floor can help moderate the temperature during warmer months. They're also super versatile: you can incorporate a beautiful Spanish villa look with ceramic tiles, or an plan an ultramodern escape with slate tiles. Just be careful when you pick them out because very dark tiles can get pretty hot after a day in the sun.

Swiss Garden Hotel

Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences Malacca. To compensate the lack of entertainment in the room, the pool area is a MUST especially when you have kids. They will definitely love the playful pool area. The open spaced pool area provides stunning view of modern meets vintage culture in Melaka.

Kids loved the water park. My kids love their swimming pool. We will definitely return for the kid's pool as our kids love it. My kids love the pool because it's huge and have kids playground.

Cantonese Fried Rice

Cantonese fried rice Packed with veggies and ham, fried rice makes a simple yet satisfying mid-week meal. This was really tasty. Whole family loved it and went back for seconds! This was yummy and really easy to make!

The kids loved it - also really nice with diced pork (with or without the prawns). I just the cook the pork before everything else and then add it at the end! I don't even bother cooking the rice the day before - if you have a rice cooker you can cook it the same day, let it cool and it's good to go! :)
