The Lenovo USB-C to HDMI Adapter turns an available USB-C port into an HDMI 1.4 compliant output. The other problem with the Lenovo setup is that the USB Type C socket is located on the side of the screen at the top and for some unknown reason the Type C adapter manufactures think that a 50mm cable length is appropriate.

Hence the adapter dongle is hanging off the side of the screen and continues to fall out of the Type C socket.

The Ouya is an Android based gaming console which started as a Kickstarter project. It will launch with an Android Jelly Bean OS, quad-core tegra-3 processor and 1GB ram. To play games you hook up the console to your TV via HDMI and download games through Google Play.

It sounds like a great concept but the machine will set you back £99.00 in the UK and additional controllers will cost a whooping £40.00. However I'm sure there will be third party controllers available. I'm still not sold on the concept; from my experience Android games aren't as entertaining as you would find on proven platforms. The games available as of now are mostly games I would play when passing time on a journey, but who knows this could change once the console is released.

Have Problem with LENOVO MIIX 510 when connect usb type-C to HDMI adapter. I purchased two different brands of USB 3 Type to HDMI adapters. Neither of them worked using different TV's and different length HDMI cables. I finally had success when I purchased a 3m 4K super duper gold HDMI cable to connect the USB 3 Type C adapter to the TV(s).

Note that this would only work on SOME TV's. DO NOT try to use a long HDMI cable. That surely won't work. Extremely frustrating. There must be some kind of lack of power output.
