Melaka Food, Fried Oysters. Oh yeah, it's called “fried oyster omelet” too – due to the big amount of eggs. Oysters are fresh and although not big in size, the generous amount makes up for it.

As for myself, I got to say that I enjoyed eating it. The eggs are simply delicious, and I actually care about the oysters – I just loved them. Fried oysters can be found in some Melaka food courts and the one that I like most is at the stall in Bunga Raya Food Court.

Unicorn Cafe Melaka Kuah Lada Ikan (RM9.90 – set meal). It was difficult to describe the gravy as it is truly complex.

A mix of freshly grounded peppercorn, spices and turmeric in coconut milk, it carries a peppery heat plus multi-facet fieriness from the spices coupled with the richness of creamy coconut milk. It calls for rice, and I concur that it is certainly best enjoyed with a bowl of hot carbs. Stingray is used here, and you can expect 1-2 pieces of fish with each order.

Hennessy Black Cognac. Very easy to mix thanks to its smooth rounded character hennessy black can also be enjoyed neat or as the key ingredient in a variety of long drinks.

Always trying to improve my brew. I've really enjoyed Illy ground coffee / espresso, but I have yet to get their med roast beans to make good espresso or coffee via drip or French press.

Fried fish skin. I really enjoyed the HK beancurd roll (RM25), which is great to dip into the two broths.

The texture is finer than your regular beancurd roll/fuchuk and it's less oily. Fried fish skin (RM15) is great for dipping into the broth as well but it's also good as a snack. And if you have remaining bits, add them onto your noodles for crunch.

Hennessy VSOP Cognac. Hennessy VSOP is aged in old casks, which gives a smoother taste than Hennessy VS.

That smooth Taste is best enjoyed neat or on the Rocks but is also sublime in long drinks and cocktails. (1 Liter).
