Puchong is a haven for dimsum teahouses, from those that look like grand palaces to bare boned shops with marble-topped furniture, these establishments serve everything you would expect from dimsum: steamed paus, fried dumplings, and even Hong Kong-style chee cheong fun! We've rounded up the top dimsum places that will have you eating paus from the wee hours of the morning to snacking on salted egg custard buns in the late afternoon.

Kampar Curry Chicken Bread @ Kam Ling Restaurant
Anyway, we decided to embark on a short, day trip to Teluk Intan in the southern region of the state of Perak. I wrote about Teluk Intan only once in my blog, if I recall correctly. That was when we visited Keng Heng Coffee Shop in town for breakfast, then lunch at Lana Tea House. But of course, I neglected the urge to write about the repeated visits to the town famous for the iconic leaning tower (yup, don't go thinking ONLY Italy has one) right smack in town centre, the incomparable Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun, and fresh seafood supplied by its neighbouring town of Hutan Melintang. (Read about our lunch at Men Lok Seafood @ Hutan Melintang)

Chee Cheong Fun
Restoran G. Cheong Fun, Johor. Open until lunch hour only. For those who feel bathing the spongy rice rolls with prawn gravy is mundane or isn't cutting-edge enough, make your way to this unassuming restaurant. Among the most vaunted version is drowning the chee cheong fun with curry, which is mildly spicy yet savoury. Yam Cake and Pig Skin Curry. Teh Ais with Gula Melaka.
