2005 onwards in KIA Carnivals are ok. as the ones before 2004 only had a small engine which blew up because of the weight of the vehicle.2005 onwards have a heaps bigger engine(Hyundai Santa Fe engine) so can handle the load.

ETA to fix yr model as i just found all my paper work from when my brother worked with Hyundai/KIA

Perform Better

An engine fitted with a turbocharger is much smaller and lighter than an engine producing the same power without a turbocharger. You could have a small turbocharged engine installed in a car and it would still perform better than a vehicle with a regular albeit much bigger engine.
