According to independent German automotive inspection organisation, DEKRA, the A3 is projected to offer 31 percent or 11,500 km better mileage as compared to its three leading competitors. In a separate test conducted by TUV SUD, a German testing and certification company, the Goodyear A3 is said to have 9 percent shorter wet braking distance, 4 percent shorter dry braking distance and wet handling as well as 10.9 percent better rolling resistance compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 3, Bridgestone Potenza S001 and Continental Sport Contact 5.

New Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 rolls in. When compared to the three competitors, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 showed to have a 2.6m-shorter braking distance (9% better) on wet roads; a 1.3m-shorter braking distance on dry roads (4% better) and 4% better wet handling.

It was also found that the tyre had 10.9% better rolling resistance compared to the average of its three competitors - putting it in second place among its peers.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has arrived. Dry braking was 1.3 metres shorter (4% better).

And wet handling was 4%. The same test results also showed a 10.9% better rolling resistance compared to the average of the three tested competitors, which represents the second best rolling resistance performance of the tyre brands tested. However straight line aquaplaning was found to be 2% points behind the average.

The new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 also features Goodyear's renowned FuelSaving Technology, which aids reduced fuel consumption. The TÜV SÜD Automotive test also confirmed that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 delivers top-class rolling resistance in its category, with a 7 percent better rolling resistance compared to the average performance of three leading competitors.

Also, the tyre's optimized block design and optimized 4 Pitches Sequence with 64 blocks on the outside and 72 blocks on the inside help reduce noise output levels.

Pilot Sport 3. A tyres made for sport-oriented vehicles and high-powerd saloons, the MICHELIN Pilot Sport 3 gives you driving pleasure and security in both wet and dry conditions.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 3 is not bad as well compared to the Michelin Primacy 3ST. Both are good in wet and dry conditions.

Their durability and wear and tear are equally good. However, I would still recommend Michelin Primacy 3ST as it is very quiet on the road and gives a comfortable ride and it is in a very good quality even though the price is high but it is worth the money.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. Goodyear was only too happy to point out that in a tyre test conducted by Germany's independent testing entities TUV and Dekra, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 outperformed three of its rivals – the Bridgestone Potenza S001, Continental Sport Contact 5 and Michelin Pilot Sport 3 – in areas such as braking, wet handling and particularly in mileage where the Asymmetric 3 was 31% better in tread wear performance, equivalent to around 11,500km worth of mileage, which is an impressive result.

Continental Sport Contact 3. These tyres came standard on my 2015 A4 S Line, very disappointed, at 22000 km the road noise is unbearable, they are not worn out but i'm so over the noise i'm prepared to drop 2k to get rid of them.
