even you have a perfect piping, the pressure is still weak as the water is flowing down from your water tank only. As per the photo above, my customer did all the modification and water pressure increase by ard 5-10% only.

I would like to share my experience on purchasing a water pump (Grundfos).I am renovating my bathroom along the way there was a need to install a water pump to boost the pressure for my rain shower.I looked for information regarding water pumps and learned that Grundfos was the best available.So I went around to a few of dealers to see the pump and understand the mechanism.

I dont remember quoting u RM 1.2k with installation. definitely u can install a water pump, dont need to check. Few things to do.

Prepare a switch for the pump and drag it near to the tank's outlet, then prepare a socket point there for the pump to plug in. If it is outdoor, prepare a shelter for the pump as it is not water proof. Make sure that the pipes are connected to your water tank and not direct water. (If new house, it is connected to water tank but 2nd hand, may be the previous owner modify it to direct water)

You can go for Grundfos CH2-50PC, it is sufficient to supply strong water pressure for 4-5 bathrooms at the same time. Grundfos is durable and silent.

You can get my promotion Grundfos CH2-50PC + Perfect Steel 10" Stainless steel filter = RM 2,250 without installation. A normal pump like the CH models will operate at maximum speed when someone turns on the tap, when another person turns on the tap, the pressure will drop a little.

Pipes will not burst, if u got the right person to do your plumbing work, there is no way pipes will burst. For landed properties with 4-5 bathrooms the best pump to get is Grundfos CH2-50PC.

Landed property will definitely have weak water pressure as the water flow down from the tank which is 1-2 story above your bathrooms, the gravity pressure is weak. Condo on the other hand have strong pressure bcoz the water tank is like 5-10 floors above your unit, so the gravity pressure is strong and you will have strong will have strong water pressure

usually people will just lift the lever up 50% then adjust the preferred temperature, rarely will turn full to hot den lift up the lever. If you are using a storage tank, i guess there is a button to reduce the max temperature.

Grundfos pump is powerful, if you are those who wants to get rain shower and have strong water pressure like hotels then GRUNDFOS is the choice. There are some customers who told me, just shower 5 min only, no need so good one, then get an instant heater with built in pump.

My water pressure is still very strong until this very day. Complete silent + extremely low installation cost + Energy free + maintenance free 24/7. High flow water even during black out. Well, it is an excellent option for those who have high water pressure.

I live in JB and water pressure is very good thus far. Where do you live? It is quite rare to see the water pressure dropped after neighbor moved in. There are always pros and cons. It is just another option.

I got the same grundfos pump CH2-50PC, for about RM1.2k. yes i did have some leak at the tangki and toilet sink incoming joints, but these can be spotted easily when u run the pump for a day or two.

then just need to rectify. so far, pressure has been really strong, all my shower heaters are without built in pumps, and yet shower pressure is excellent. by the way, i have 5 toilets in the house, and even with ALL of the taps running, pressure is still good.
