Shell Petrol Station

Shell Petrol Station
There are two famous Cendol places to go to in Kuantan; one in town (Cendol Air Putih), and one on the way to the beach. My personal favorite place is the latter (its closer to my house), Mustafa Cendol. It's been around ever since I was a young girl, and my dad used to bring me here at least once a week. This cendol place started out as a simple booth along the road but is now a restaurant serving local food as well. Location: Jalan Teluk Sisek, Kuantan (next to the Shell petrol station).
Operating Times: 11.30am-7pm, daily.

Kl South
Now, it is fast becoming one of the upcoming viable property hotspots for homebuyers and investors – increasingly being sought-after as a preferred location. Albeit being tucked further away from the city but within the recesses of KL South, the growing township is brimming with bustling activity as a slew of developers congregate here to transform this quiet neighbourhood with their range of property offerings.

Huge Variety
Joo Seng Teochew Porridge & Rice. This is my go-to place for Teochew porridge fix – just 5 mins drive away from Bukit Timah. The braised duck meat and boiled squid are particularly good and very consistent in quality. A huge variety of dishes including a few non Teochew delights greet visitors – indeed it is somewhat akin to an “economical rice” stall. Address: 14 Cheong Chin Nam Road, Singapore 599738
Operating hours: 10am – 4am (Daily)

A popular one in Kota Kinabalu and according to some of the locals, one of the most expensive places to eat seafood.
Seafood delicacies is widely known if you are visiting Kota Kinabalu. I would recommend this place for its efficient service and a must try for seafood lovers !

Reasonable Price

Reasonable Price
If you ask me, RM49.90++ is actually a very reasonable price to pay for a quality Japanese BBQ buffet Rocku Yakiniku is offering. Moreover, the food is generally good (albeit somewhat lacking in choices) and the ambiance is uniquely great.
Although there were some minor issues such as mixed up order and drinks taking longer than it should to arrive, the experience was overall pretty pleasurable. Meat and seafood lovers on a medium budget should find Rocku Yakiniku an irresistible place to dine out.

Ah Loong Grilled Fish Seafood

Ah Loong Grilled Fish Seafood
Ah Loong Grilled Fish Seafood Restaurant @ Jinjang Utara. Lastly, Yin Yong Squid @ RM24 that is made up of Fried Baby Squid and Fried Calamari with Creamy Butter Sauce. Since I have had similar fried baby squids in other restaurants that taste considerably much better, this is only somewhat average to me. The crunchy texture they pack alone could not make up for the lack of flavor and over-dryness. Luckily, the calamari was there to save this dish. The accompanying sauce was simple but creamy with a delightful flavor that whets your palate.
