Coffea Coffee by Timothy A coffee franchise from Korea, Coffea Coffee opened its first outlet in Bangsar at the end of 2012. Serving specialty coffee from top plantations in Brazil, Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Colombia, and Costa Rica, the café offers single origin and house blend coffees.

The latter is a house signature made up of a five-bean blend available in two varieties: maestro, a strong full-bodied American-style coffee with dark chocolate undertones; and madonna, a sweet European-style roasted blend with a fruity aroma and a dash of acidity. The menu offers seven types of single-origin beans and up to 13 standard coffee types including espresso (RM7), flat white (RM10), and latte macchiato (RM11). Non-coffee drinkers can slurp up the likes of peanut butter latte

In a vintage with crisp fruitiness being the defining factor, it is a bit of a shame. The dark edge needs to mellow before the wine can balance out.

The Best Cheap Wine Under $10. Gnarly Head Lodi Zinfandel ($10).

This zinfandel is a bold wine with berry flavors and layers of vanilla, spice, plum, and pepper. Gnarly Head makes this wine with grapes from some of the oldest vines in California, and the fruit gives the wine an intense flavor. This wine pairs well with dark chocolate, chicken, and beef dishes.
