Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 – new UHP tyre. Goodyear's Eagle F1 is probably the American tyre company's most recognisable brand, and the Asymmetric model has been given a revamp with the new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5.

Replacing the Asymmetric 3, the ultra high performance (UHP) tyre boasts improved wet braking and dry handling performance without any detriment to ride comfort or road noise.

Eagle F1 Asymmetric

Fitted to a 2014 Mercedes-Benz A180 with the dimensions of 225/40 R18, first impressions were good as soon as I drove away from the tire shop where I got them installed. They immediately felt rather plush & quiet as compared to the other ultra high performance tires that I've used, which were noticeably stiffer and noisier.

Already I suspect that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 (EF1A3) is designed with daily driving in mind.

Ultra High Performance

Pirelli Pzero Run Flat. A milestone in the development of the Pirelli range, P ZERO™ has been chosen as original equipment for the most performance oriented and powerful models on the market.

A reference point for the ultra high performance segment, it is characterised by an asymmetric tread pattern. Ideal for all top of the range sports and high-powered cars, it can also be considered for powerful mid-range vehicles.
