Looking more like a novelty shop than a food stop, Matcha Hero Kyoto may be easily overlooked if not for their very large drink menu! They have matcha and houjicha in teas and lattes, but our absolute favourite was the noukou matcha and houjicha ice cream (RM9.50)!

You can taste the superior quality of the tea used in these ice creams, and they were the best we had in Tokyo Street. There isn't really a place to sit in Matcha Hero Kyoto, but you're welcome to hang around and explore their merchandise of tea canisters, special tools, and cups.
