Pebble Time Round

When you're making a gadget as personal as a smartwatch, the more choice the better, and so Pebble is welcoming its first ever circular-screen wearable. The Pebble Time Round slots into the same line-up as the Pebble Time and the Pebble Time Steel, billed as the thinnest, lightest smartwatch in the world, and packing the same simple software along with cross-platform compatibility.

I caught up with Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky to find out more.

Stainless Steel

Huawei has a smartwatch too While some people are going gaga over the recent Apple Watch launch, others are looking at other directions for cheaper alternatives. How about the Huawei Watch? The new Huawei Watch strives to look more like a real watch. This means that instead of the square design, like the Apple Watch, Huawei's smartwatch has a rounded 400 x 400 pixel display or watch face with 286 ppi.

Like other smartwatches, this one still has to connect wirelessly to a smartphone. In this case, it has to be an Android phone running at least Android or higher. With a design resembling the real thing on your wrist, the watch is made of sapphire crystal elements and coldforged stainless steel. Better than a real watch, it doesn't just have just one watch face but up to 40.

Doesn't Require

Google Smartwatch called Pixel Watch. Worn and tried a few smartwatches over the years. Not so necessary ability to read a WhatsApp message on a tiny screen.

What I do need, though in smartwatch is mobile payments that doesn't require me to fish my phone out of my pocket. Smartwatch also become fashion, even it cannot do anything useful. For example Apple Airpods have morphed into fashion statements, to the point where online retailer ASOS is selling copycat Airpods that play no music. Later go online find cheap fake apple smartwatch first.
