Chef Onn Guangzhou Roast Duck Famous for its Guangzhou-styled roast duck, this stall is located inside the Damansara Hokkien Mee restaurant and has been around for some time. On the evening we were there, there was already a large crowd waiting for their ducks to be packed as takeaways. The ducks here are very meaty and are coated in a marinade with strong nuances of Chinese herbs, in particular tong kwei (angelica).

Fratelli Merlot is a vibrant ruby coloured wine with a deep robe. Distinct aromas of plum and dark chocolate with slightly earthy undertones characterize this wine. On the palate, the wine has ripe fruit characteristics of dark plums with silky tannins and a pleasant acidity.

2015 Shiraz Viognier Reserve. A wine with a deep red colour leaning into prominent dark plum and spicy flavours on the nose with a floral hint coming from the Viognier in the blend.

Touches of mulberry and rosemary on the palate are well integrated with the French oak tannins to give the wine a long finish.
