Kia Grand Carnival

The Kia Carnival Compared to some other diesel people movers tested recently, the Kia Grand Carnival does an excellent job under varying load conditions. Like most turbo diesel engines the Grand Carnival is a little slow to get off the line but once the engine moves into the higher rev range it has all the power and torque needed in a family car.

The Grand Carnival is powered by a 2.9 litre, four cylinder, intercooled turbo-diesel engine that features a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) and common rail direct injection (CRDi). This engine delivers 136kW of power at 3,800rpm and 34

Suzuki engineered the Hayabusa to perform like a heavyweight boxer—muscular yet surprisingly agile. While riders rarely need to call on its full punch off the line, the overabundant power and fleet-footed performance inspire confidence in everyday riding.

That restrained yet refined energy is the presence that turns heads when a Hayabusa and rider pass. The Hayabusa's high-quality finish and attention to detail betray unequalled pride of craftsmanship that will become your pride of ownership. The bold design also gives it a unique aura and form

Kia Carnival

Kia Carnival Not based on a commercial vehicle and as such drives just like a car. Smooth and easy to steer with a high driving position. Drive is through the front wheels and for a large vehicle it is amazingly light on its feet. Five minutes after getting into this one I recalled why I like this diesel so much ...

it has to be one of the smoothest and most powerful out there. Cruises easily, with good acceleration off the line and strong mid-range response. Not phased by lots of passengers and sips lightly too. Rated at 6.6 litres/100km, we got 500km out of half an 80-litre tank.

Doesn't Feel

Kia Optima: 2016 Motor Trend Car of the Year Contender The bigger 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine, which produces 245 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, proved barely faster than the smaller 1.6-liter turbocharged model. The smaller engine in the Optima LX model went 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds and finished the quarter mile in 15.8 seconds at 90.1 mph with just 178 horses under the hood.

The bigger-engine SXL model did the same runs in 7.3 seconds and 15.6 seconds at 90.3 mph. "There's a surprising amount of turbo lag off the line with the SXL," Christian Seabaugh said. Confirming the test numbers objectively, he continued, "and it doesn't feel any more powerful than the LX."
