Panasonic Technics RP-DH1250 Few brands conjure such a direct mental connection with DJ gear, turntables in particular, as Technics. Thus, the brand's DJ headphones are bound to enjoy a certain level of popularity alongside its other music gear. Thankfully, the RP-DH1250 also happens to provide high quality audio performance in a sturdy, comfortable design.

At $269.99 (list), it feels overpriced compared with the competition, but it does not disappoint on any other fronts. Before we continue, if you've seen a remarkably similar Technics pair called the RP-DH1200 out there, this pair is identical. Save for the extra phone-controls cable included with the RP-DH1250 and the model number printed on the earcup, it's merely been re-branded.

Edifier has made a reputation for their high quality audio products. The Edifier H840 Stereo Headphones is not only affordable but also delivers high fidelity sound and rich bass even at high levels. Using 40 mm drivers the model offers excellent audio quality.

The build of the model is fairly plain. They have foam padded ear cup covered in PU leather and a padded headband. They are however quite durable with due to reinforcements placed in the headband and flexible parts that are less likely to snap. The model does come with gold plated connectors that improve audio quality.
