Heart Rate Monitor
The Matrix PowerWatch abstains from their use entirely by instead powering itself using body heat (meaning you'll never need to take it off for charging). This is accomplished thanks to thermoelectric technology that uses a temperature gradient, your body heat on one side and components inside the watch on the other to generate electricity. The same system also makes accurate calorie measurements possible without the need for a heart rate monitor, on top of tracking steps, sleep quality, plus loading other micro-applications on its monochromatic display such as a timer and stopwatch.

The camera is great. It is better than my S4, which always had my friends with iphones complimenting the quality of its pictures. Here is where I don't really understand the well accepted belief in the tech media that "iphones have the best cameras". My assessment may not be scientific as I don't look at smudging, color accuracy, etc...with special devices, I just know that regular people tend to be amazed by the pictures my Samsung phones have taken. One thing I have noticed that many reviewers have missed or not mentioned, is that the volume rocker acts as a dedicated shutter release in camera mode (front and rear). I find this to be much more practical than using the heart rate sensor as a shutter release.
The device works well as a phone and mini computer

Heart Rate
Yoga and meditation, by slowing the heart rate and inducing the relaxation response, may help bring blood pressure down to safer levels. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania recently conducted one of the first randomized, controlled trials of yoga for blood pressure. They found that 12 weeks of Iyengar Yoga reduced blood pressure as well as or better than the control condition of nutrition and weight-loss education.
