Make The Right Choice
Making the Right Bow Choice
For your first bow, you should ask an archery shop near you, an archery coach or a more experienced shooter to help you make the right choice. No matter the style, the size of your bow will depend on several factors like your age, height and draw length.
When you are just starting out, the only factor determining how long your arrows should be is your draw length.
As a beginner, it is best to use arrows that are at least an inch or two longer than your draw length. For safety reasons, always go with longer arrows. Never go shorter.
Recurve Bows – Recurve bows are the only bows the Olympics allow. Many archers also shoot recurve bows in field archery and 3D archery, and when bowhunting with higher-poundage bows.
Compound Bows, Traditional Bows.

Bowtech - Assasin RAK. Killer Bow, Killer Price, Killer Speed.
To say that the Assassin is fully loaded is a true understatement. We pulled out all the stops to deliver a R.A.K.™ equipped bow at a price almost too good to believe, packed with features such as the accredited Binary® Cam System [Symmetry, Synchronization, and Simplicity], created by BowTech, with rotating draw length modules.
A great bow to get started out on a budget, as its fully kitted out and means you can have time to save up for upgrades later. Its a very smooth drawing bow and its still seriously quick even with silencers etc added to the string. The addition of a good fall away rest brings the speed back up.

Narrow Down
Archery Country
Really personal service from the owner down to the hourly employee. They spent the time to understand what I was looking for, what physically fit me, and what I was prepared to spend. I actually considered purchasing something slightly cheaper online; however these guys provided me a service by helping me narrow down the right bow for me. Amazon.com wouldn't measure my draw length nor let me fire a couple of different bows. I had a real pleasant afternoon at their shop & range. I had the pleasure of observing both how they handled me (a cost-conscious consumer) and a price-is-no-object consumer... and we were both treated with the same level of dedication.
