Make Sure You Come

Don't shift gears when your car is moving. Make sure you come to a complete stop before going from Drive to Reverse or vice versa. Why?

For one, it wears out your transmission, because you're using THAT to stop the car instead of your brakes. The car will actually stop but you will end up wearing out your automatic transmission band.

The overall shape is quite nice and well executed. I think the new 2016 Proton Perdana is very European in terms of styling. The car does not look like the previous (8th) generation Honda Accord it was based upon.

Proton had redesigned the whole front end, new design to the lights, grille, bumper, bonnet and fenders (which now have side air vents ala Jaguar). Everything at the rear is different. The car is actually longer than the Accord it was based on and the additions actually add 20kg to the weight of the car.

Good Condition

Honda Malaysia Difficulty starting car - honda city 1.5S 2013. am having difficulty starting my engine on occasions. This is not in the mornings whem the engine is cold but normally after the car has been driven and warmed up. It takes more than 1 crank to get it going . I made a complaint and sent the car for a check up at Actmar Klang on 24.8.13 .

They only checked that the battery is in good condition and that was it. They also sent a report to HMSB on the same day but todate i have not had a response. The car was okay till today 30.10.13 , when it is starting to act up again. Does this mean I have to wait till my car actually FAILS to start - somewhere on the highway - before i get a solution ? I am now very hesitant to take my car outstation as i feel it is unreliable.

Moving Forward

Delayed engagement. If this symptom occurs, you'll notice a delay before the car actually engages into drive and starts moving forward.

When you shift out of “P” and into “D,” there may be a long pause where the car revs the engine as you give it gas, but it's not moving forward as it should.
