Storey Corner Lot

Banana leaf rice at Sri Ganapathi Mess, from RM5. Escape the lunch time throng at Bangsar's banana leaf joints and head to Sri Ganapathi Mess for a quieter and frankly, tastier banana leaf experience.

Once a secret PJ hideaway, the single storey corner lot house is fast becoming a cult favourite for its heady South Indian curries and spicy sides. Don't be content with the default serving of rice and vegetables; go all out on the fried-to-order seafood, Chettinad style goat intestine curry, crab rasam and the addictive deep-fried bitter gourd perfumed with curry leaves.

Gives Good

Sunstar Orange Marmalade Jam Marmalade is a fruit preserve made from the juice and peel of citrus fruits boiled with sugar and water. It can be produced from kumquats, lemons, limes, grapefruits, mandarins, sweet oranges, bergamots and other citrus fruits, or any combination thereof.

The benchmark citrus fruit for marmalade production in Britain is the Spanish Seville orange, Citrus aurantium var. aurantium, prized for its high pectin content, which gives a good set. The peel has a distinctive bitter taste which it imparts to the marmalade.
