The best brunch meals in KL, Chicken Cobb Sandwich at Chequers, RM25. The American waffles-and-chicken combo has finally crossed geographical borders, now available as a Chicken Cobb Sandwich at Chequers, featuring crispy waffles, shredded chicken, hard-boiled egg, avocado, beef bacon, plum tomatoes and curry mayo.

There are several other versions worth mentioning too: Moo Moo (a waffle burger with sirloin beef patty), Eggs Benedict (served with watercress salad), and if you like something sweet, Melting Moments (waffles with deep-fried bananas and salted caramel sauce).

Frisky Goat at Taman Tun Dr Ismail. A hip neighbourhood haunt that's drawing the crowds from beyond TTDI's borders, Frisky Goat whips up some of the best waffles in town. Expect some creative creations from their kitchen like the Mantastic Sandwich (RM22).

Fried chicken, beef bacon, cheese, and a sunny side-up is held together by crisp waffles that yielded a light, airy bite, topped with Southwestern corn salad and maple syrup. For those with a sweet tooth, go for the classic Belgian waffle. Embellished simply with cream, maple syrup, and toasted almond flakes, the fluffy waffle stands out.

The zenith hotel kuantan, breakfast buffet very ordinary. Luckily got my favourite beef bacon but very fast finish.

Not sure they will top up later or not?

Miss Coffee & Toast, Puchong. Cannot deny that the environment is good can chill out and some student bring laptop doing their study here, outdoor seating available but tried the Beef Bacon Pasta Bolognese so terrible sour. Never eat any food here anymore.

Maybe drink still ok i guess. Just tried Iced Chocolate, so so only. There are Signature Macha havent try.

Melaka Breakfast. La Bodega, Shore Shopping Gallery, Malacca. La Bodega Big Breakfast (RM28) is a hearty plate and well suited to those with an earnest appetite.

It's filled with two eggs of our choice (sunny side up), chicken sausages, beef bacon, grilled tomato, baked beans, sautéed mushrooms and a slice of toast. We hear it's a best seller in all of the outlets. Sometimes you just can't do better than tradition.

Whether it's all-day breakfasts or dinner mains (after 6.00pm), you can be sure that The Good Batch offerings are hearty and satisfying all the way. Check out the cheekily named The Angmoh (RM25.90), which is a full-on big breakfast with (deep breath!) scrambled eggs, beef bacon, chicken sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes, baked beans, and toast.

Or maybe The Norwegian (RM21.90), alluding to the smoked salmon paired with capsicum and onion confit for their take on eggs Benedict, might better tickle your fancy.
