10 best gaming laptops 2015 Alienware 17 (2015) The Alienware 17 is an impressive refinement for this series of gaming laptops Flexible desktop mode Excellent large screen Still quite expensive Slightly bottlenecked Amplifier performance The Alienware 17 is one of those few outrageously priced gaming laptops that's actually worth it. The notebook is a fully capable gaming machine on its own, but with the added power of desktop graphics through the GPU Amplifier it can play almost any game on Ultra settings. If you're looking for something smaller, the Alienware 13 also works with the optional GPU box.

Like Brand New

I own an Alienware 17 R2 but laptop has problems, the thing is, I'm having doubts if the technician even knows what the hell is he doing. My battery suddenly was not able to charge anymore at all.

Ok, so motherboard was replaced and poof its feels like brand new and the laptop feels perfect again. Like i mentioned, laptop felt new and perfect again, until i found out all of my left ports (usb, headphones and mic) and my lan port isn't working. So had to replace again one part of the motherboard and all the ports works again.

Own Alienware 17

I own an Alienware 17 R2 laptop. Got the laptop to get fixed again and the tech changed the motherboard and etc again and still I end up with problems. Now my keyboard some of the buttons don't work and my drive D is still missing.

Had to wait for the keyboard parts to arrive because apparently there was no stock on the parts.. Waited and got the keyboard fixed but my drive D is still missing. This is the 4th week and the problem on my laptop has not been resolved. I have not touched the laptop much since then.
