Yee Fatt Curry Mee (怡发咖喱面) Near Methodist Girls' School at Jalan Kampar, beckons one of the most delicious curry noodles in Ipoh named Yee Fatt Curry Mee. While Yee Fatt serves two versions of curry mee which are the soup and dry version, we highly recommend you to go for the dry version which is drizzled with curry sauce and served with curry chicken.

Ka Heong Pan Mee at Kedai Makanan Sun Seng Fatt (新成发茶餐室) While many people are still not aware of this shop, Ka Heong Pan Mee is one of the best Pan Mee places in Ipoh. If you like a heartwarming sensation, then this is the place to go.

Their soup which is slow-cooked with anchovies combined with springy Pan Mee won our heart. Though they also serve the dry version of Pan Mee, we reckon the one served in soup would be ideal for breakfast. Location : 25, Jalan Leong Sin Nam, 30300 Ipoh, Perak.

Flour kebab wrapped with chicken and some vegetables and with curry sauce. Very special food but not used to it. Worth to try but not my peference.

rif and I stumbled across the curry mee stall at Kedai Kopi Ah Soon by accident. This stall serves something similar to what Jess Café is serving – yong tau fu with curry noodles.

Ipoh has so much good food that it is really impossible for me to have normal white bread for breakfast everyday. I started our day eating the famous curry noodles at Restaurant Xin Quan Fang (or the locals call it Ma Ta Liu curry mee). Our bowl of noodles arrived with a side of roasted pork, char siew, prawns and chicken seated on top of a bed of blanched bean sprouts.

Dip it into the curry sauce, oh man, it is sooooo shiok. I don't think they have any coconut milk added, the curry was very delicious with lard and garlic. The braised roast pork is from their own recipe and cannot find anywher

This is one of the most popular places in Kuantan to have curry noodles— my childhood friends and I used to come here a lot back then. It's at an ideal location too; right next to Kuantan's main beach, Teluk Chempedak. The place gets packed during breakfast time, so go early or you may be disappointed– it runs out by 10-11am. The curry broth here is mildly spicy and creamy, but if you want that extra punch, add in some additional chili sambal sauce.
