Tanjung Sepat Day Trip
Fried crab with "mee hoon" or rice vermicelli. You can select a row of seafood restaurants facing the sea, that you can take your dinner or lunch. All located near the partially collapsed Lover's bridge. Namely, the Lover's Bridge Restaurant, Ocean Seafood and Ban Joo Hing. we tried the some famous dishes that include the mee hoon fried with crabs, oyster omelette and fish ball noodles. They were generous with the oysters, in comparison with Malacca counterpart which is quite stingy with their portion. Tanjung Sepat Day trip Planning.

Bak Kut Teh
Tanjung Sepat Day Trip. This is the first time we tried seafood Bak Kut Teh so we made a mistake when we ordered. In fact, we wanted to try seafood in traditional herbal soup but the owner prepared one bowl of traditional soup with pork and one bowl of seafood in spicy soup respectively. To be frank, in my humble opinion, there's nothing to shout about the bak kut teh. Restoran Yikee Seafood Bak Kut Teh 裕记海鲜肉骨茶. Jalan Besar (Jalan Pasar), 42800 Tanjung Sepat, Selangor.

Red Bean Paste
Tanjung Sepat Day Trip. Hainanse Pau. Making Tantalizing Pau.
One of the Tanjung Sepat food that not to be missed is Hai Yew Heng's Chinese steamed buns (pau). It's famous for vegetable buns but I prefer its red bean paste (tau sah) pau.
Despite it's humble shop, the place is filled with customers waiting in line to buy its freshly made and freshly steamed buns. If you don't want to get disappointed, be there early (12 - 1pm).Perniagaan Pau Hai Yew Heng 海友兴海南包

Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodles
Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodles at Kepong. There is only one choice of noodle, which is this medium thick rice vermicelli (bee hoon). The bee hoon is firm and springy. My bowl of non-fried salmon Fish Head Noodles at RM 10. Delicious too and there is no strong fishy smell. On my another visit to Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodles, I tried the prawn noodles. The medium-sized prawns are very fresh and tasty. As a prawn lover myself, I approve this bowl of prawn noodles to my list of favourite prawn dishes.
