Naza Ria 2.5 GS There were O2 sensor errors codes and air flow sensor errors, which the technicians don't even bother to look into. They just reset/erased the error codes and not having the problem solved.

The price for these O2 and air flow sensors are way too high. I bought these parts from On-line store for 1/3 price, installed them myself, reset the ECU and my Naza Ria is back to its original state.

Naza Ria maintenance cost is very high for this MPV. Irrespective of mileage, you have to spend lots of money to keep it running. Annual change of water pump, timing belt, spark plugs + cables = (RM900), lower arm, engine mounting, driveshaft.

After 10 years, change all sensors, which is not cheap. Fuel consumption increase, less power after changing the timing belt at 60,000km. O2 sensors and air flow sensor failed after timing belt change out.

the good part is that for RM104K, you get leather seats, electric driver seat, aircraft type pull up tables, sunroof, powered front and rear windows, Airbags, ABS, and the fun of a 2.5liter V6 engine. Downfall however would have to be the fuel consumption, 15 cents to 25 cents per Kilometer!

I bought my NAZA Ria 2.5 in Nov 2003. Generally Naza Ria or Kia Carnival is a good, comfortable car for family long distance travelling. Good factory sound system and very spacious for kids to move around. The car easily misaligned and we have to do alignment for every 10-15K km or it will cause uneven wear to the tyres.

Was it a good buy? I think NOT, but my wife loves it. My kids enjoy the space. I don't blame them.
