Jalan Kepong Baru
Located near the T-junction at Jalan Kepong Baru, Fei Zai Long (literally means “Fat Boy Long”) or Fatty Loong is popularly known by the locals for his signature ice kacang dessert. What makes Fatty Loong's ice kacang such a sought-after dessert is its soft-shaven ice. Unlike the coarse and flaky shaved ice often found in most ice kacang stalls, the ice here is so smooth that goes easy into your mouth. Also check out its thick and sweet Gula Melaka syrup and the generous amount of sweet ingredients blanketed at the bottom of the shaved ice. You name it – red bean, cendol, grass jelly, roasted

Best Pandan Cakes In Singapore
Best Pandan Cakes in Singapore. SPARKS CAFÉ & BISTRO.
The pandan sugee manages to be surprisingly light despite the almonds and butter used in the batter. Flavourful with a slight hint of pandan, the crumb has a satisfying bite, thanks to the inclusion of coarsely ground almonds. The cake also manages to be extremely moist thanks to the homemade gula melaka syrup that is drizzled on top. #01-04 Thomson V One, 9 Sin Ming Road.

Gula Melaka Syrup

Gula Melaka Syrup
Chendol @ Jalan Macalister, Penang. Chendol – Shaved ice drenched in coconut milk and gula melaka syrup; topped with red beans and green jelly. The ice was finely shaved, no clumpy blocks that we get back home. The owner still uses the hand roll contraception from the good ol'days to shave the ice. The coconut milk and gula melaka combined to achieve just the right amount of sweetness. The red beans were extremely fresh, full of flavour and not hard at all. The green jelly had a nice chewy texture to it. Definitely one of the better chendols I've tried.

Ah Yee Curry Mee
Ah Yee Curry Mee, Kepong Baru. When she finally settled down in this premise along Jalan Kepong Baru, things didn't go smooth as she wished to. Business was really bad because nobody knew she had already shifted here. Sometimes, she had less than 10 customers for the whole day. But, thanks to her loyal customers who seek high and low for her new stall, business slowly picked up and after months, everything resumed to as it used to be. Loyal customers can enjoy Ah Yee Curry Mee legendary chee cheong fun again after the stall's latest location was spread around by word of mouth.

Jalan Kepong Baru
Jalan Kepong Baru Beef Noodles, they also have pork noodles. Quite special, they call it pork muscle noodles. I taste like pork intestines. Maybe pork instentine wrap with pork muscle because it is more crunchy, Not like typical pork instentine which is more soft. Maybe they made it themself. Seafood noodles also available.

Bunga Raya Food Court
Melaka Food, Fried Oysters. Oh yeah, it's called “fried oyster omelet” too – due to the big amount of eggs. Oysters are fresh and although not big in size, the generous amount makes up for it. As for myself, I got to say that I enjoyed eating it. The eggs are simply delicious, and I actually care about the oysters – I just loved them. Fried oysters can be found in some Melaka food courts and the one that I like most is at the stall in Bunga Raya Food Court.
