Sae Ma Eul at Jaya One. If you ordered the set lunch, the meat is already barbecued for you to save your precious lunch time and also to prevent you from smelling like BBQ meat in the office.

Sae Ma Eul at Jaya One is a Korean BBQ Restaurant like Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant where you can barbecue your own meat at the table. It is also using charcoal which will produce tastier meat compared to electronic BBQ pit.

The side dish such as kimchi, pickles, peanuts and cucumbers are free and unlimited refill. Since Sae Ma Eul is just next to our office, we came here a few times for lunch and dinner.

San Nae Deul. Loving the grilled meat here, period. As you know, Mont Kiara is an area that's filled with heaps of Korean eateries - and it's not easy to say which one is the best.

However, Sae Ma Eul is definitely one of my favourites right now. Good quality meat, fresh seafood, nice pickles, the make-you-happy rice balls, friendly service - you name it. One thing that I would definitely recommend here apart from their grilled meat, which is a must order, would be their rice balls. You will be given a pot of rice with condiments on top, and a pair of plastic gloves.

Sae Ma Eul BBQ. Unlike many of its likes, this no-frill Korean barbecue joint grills foods over charcoal fire — not your ordinary tabletop grill — imparting your meals with a lovely smokiness. Its other must-orders include grilled baby octopus, spicy rice ball, yukssam naeng myeon, kimchi jeon, and kimchi jigae. Thankfully, the foods here are affordable.

While it opens from 3 p.m. till 2 a.m. the next day, it can get full house at dinnertime, especially on weekends. So, plan before coming over to beat the crowd.

The Sae Ma Eul has this outdoor seat which is more suitable for eating BBQ as it is less smelly than inside of the restaurant.
