And boy, there are burgers - in the battle between chicken & beef, the former wins; the buttermilk chicken thigh is a deep-fried behemoth of dripping juices (RM20.90) that the leaner & less tender Beast Mode beef burger can't surmount, despite intriguing toppings of barbacoa pulled beef, duck bacon & root beer BBQ sauce that crown the patty constructed with three cuts of beef (RM26.90).

The Dawgs come with toppings that range from classic yellow mustard, ketchup & diced raw onions to more unconventional combos like a comfortingly thick, savoury chili con carne with American cheese & sour cream (which is what we enjoyed), mac & cheese with cream & cilantro, or guacamole with pico de gallo & crushed tortilla chips (RM19.90-RM26.90, including fries).

Farooj burger. I order beef burger.

The meat very thick and strong beef taste, definately better than Mcdonalds. Even Burger King having beef taste but this Farooj more thick the beef meat.

Namoo Korean Cafe Publika on the Park. Kids environment friendly cafe. Namoo On The Park is kid environment friendly, if you tired take care kids on weekdays you can choose having dinner while you kids can play on the playground.

So can have a relax dinner while watching on ur kids. Namoo Rice Beef Burger. RM23.90. Drinks also not so expensive also RM 10.

Farooj beef burger with Rana Hot Chili Sauce and mix with normal chili sauce. Very perfect. As the owner said this Raba Hot Sauce is from Arabic.

Taste like Tabasco or Nandos chilies sauce. Sour type sauce can increase appetite but this Rana sauce even more sour than the rest but less spicy than Tabasco just right to suit me. This Rana Hot Sauce also sold nearby his restaurant in South City Plaza.

Burger Bakar starts at RM8. Bob Republic in Bandar Menjalara, Kepong. Their showpiece would have to be 'lovehatelove,' a single patty beef burger topped with nachos and salsa between charcoal buns.

While it could have done with a little more sauce, the nachos added texture and depth to the overall taste. A good nachos to meat ratio - lovehatelove. In the coming Ramadan month, the stall will be opening about an hour later than usual at 8.00pm.

Gallo Wine Bar @ Taman Danau Desa. Somethings are better in threes, The Mushroom Threesome (RM18) is one of them. Menu reads Portobello mushroom, button mushroom, Eringi mushroom, duck bacon and onion rings.

Lots of flavours and textures on this platter. Chargrilled smoky Portobello and Eringi with crispy deep fried button mushrooms makes such delightful bites with wine. That duck bacon is divine too!

Wine & Tapas Night at Gallo Wine Bar, Taman Desa. The Mushroom Threesome – RM18.00++.

This was a nice dish to go with the wine. Essentially three (3) types of mushrooms namely Portobello mushrooms, button mushrooms, and Eringi (king oyster) mushrooms deep-fried with served some duck bacon and onion rings. A very addictive dish indeed.

Golden Duck Bacon Strips at TBF, Kota Damansara. Salty-sweet, with a firm bite and fulfilling chew, evocative of traditional Chinese bakkwa.
