Good Cake Shop

Rich and Good Cake Shop Singapore One interesting thing about the Swiss rolls here is that they are sold in their whole, uncut forms. So for $12 to $14, you get two foot-long rolls of the delicious goodies!

They come in long boxes coloured in a gentle shade of baby pink too. Sweet! Durian Swiss roll (S$14), Kaya Swiss roll (S$14), Mango Swiss roll (S$14), Green Tea Swiss roll (S$14), Orange Swiss roll (S$14), Strawberry Swiss roll (S$13), Blueberry Swiss roll (S$13), Coffee Swiss roll (S$12), Chocolate Swiss roll (S$12) I have been to Kandahar Street several times when I am at Kampong Glam, but I didn't know that there is a stall that sells such nice swiss rolls. Hopefully the shop sells swiss rolls cut into smaller slice, else I can't imagine myself buying one whole roll.

Best Pandan Cakes In Singapore

Best Pandan Cakes in Singapore. RICH AND GOOD CAKE SHOP. It's worth putting up with the crochety staff who have been manning this joint for almost 20 years just to score one of its cushy Swiss rolls.

The kaya is just one of many available flavours, made with a centre of homemade coconut jam. Heavy on the eggs, the spread is more chunky than smooth, and the thinner dimensions of the rolled cake ensures the ratio of kaya to pandan sponge is just right. 24 Kandahar Street.

Watanabe Coffee Orchard Road Isetan Scotts Level 1 Shaw House Singapore The swiss rolls at Wa Cafe and Watanabe Coffee are identical so you can get it at either. There is an airy dry texture of this roll cake that makes it light and resembled that of a chiffon cake with a strong aroma of matcha. The cake is cottony and soft while the filling is fresh cream from Hokkaido with azuki beans.

We would have preferred the whipped cream to be spiked with matcha though. But we need second thoughts on buying it again given it price tag of $8.20++. There's a tea time promotion where you can get a cake set – the roll and beverage at $11.80++ at Wa Cafe.

Feel Free Ask

Miki Ojisan No Mise Bangsar Village As their name suggests, they sell pretty good cheese cake here. Yes, that's the type of cheese cake where you can feel it melt in your mouth - so creamy so good! But actually apart from their cheese cakes, they do have pretty good swiss rolls as well. Do pay the shop a visit yourself to find out the wide range of different flavours that they have here, you will surely be tempted to try out most of their flavours. Their swiss rolls here actually are really good!

Very soft, tender and fluffy. With the cold cream in the middle, they actually make you want to eat more. However, the shop is located in a corner that's not so easy to find. So, feel free to ask for directions, you won't want to miss the cakes here. Their cakes aren't too cheap though.

Pyle-Pro PDMIC78 Dynamic Microphone. On the aforementioned previous list of budget mics, we of course started with the Shure SM57, which is ubiquitous.

At $99, it's already good value for money, but at less than $20, this option from Pyle is too cheap to ignore. For that reason alone, you might as well pick one up and try it. But the interesting thing is that these are actually pretty good.
