Regulations and Standards The new Steel Mesh Barrier Stair, when combined with the Safety Post and fitted with either the Stair Attachment, Multi Foot, or the Multi Clamp and Stair Angle, provides an edge protection solution that has been tested to confirm compliance with the requirements of EN 13374 Temporary Edge Protection Systems, Class A. The Steel Mesh Barrier Stair is designed for staircase slopes of 30° and provides continuous edge protection along staircases. Used with Adjustable Safety Post (Art no.1140) it can also be raised to allow access to work on the outside edge of the stair unit. The Steel Mesh Barrier Stair is a single component, and can be fitted to either side of the staircase.
