The Top Attractions and Places to Visit in Malaysia. Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary.

Elephants are beautiful, incredible creatures; and no place lets them shine like the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, or National Elephant Conservation Center, which is dedicated to protecting wild elephants. This is done by rescuing endangered wild elephants, relocating them to the compound, and then finding protected lands to re-release them into their natural habitat.

Tour From Kuala Lumpur

Strawberry Park is a rather large resort with 230 rooms. Its located up on a hill rather far away from town and with no restaurants or shops close by except for those in the resort in it self. The resort has three restaurants and a small shop in the lobby area. We stayed here as a part of a 3 day tour from Kuala Lumpur to Penang. We had a large twin room.

The furniture were old and dated. The whole hotel would need to be refurbished. We had a television but hardly any channels could be seen on that. There is no free internet but you could pay for Wifi so we did that unfortunately also this worked really bad most of the time not at all. There is no safe. The room did however have facilities to boil water and coffee and tea was complimentary.

Tanjung Rhu Resort

Looking for outstanding hotel in Langkawi. Found some hotel having room lighting system. Kind of cool. The rich medley of past and present, modern comforts and traditional settings, and world-class hospitality merge seamlessly at Tanjung Rhu Resort.

Our 5-star accommodation stands at the northern tip of Langkawi, Malaysia. It is nestled in the cool shade of rustling Casuarina trees on a 2.5 km white-sand beach kissed by the aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea. In every way, a true haven of romance, privacy, and tranquillity: a picnic lunch on an uninhabited island, a romantic barbecue under the stars, or al fresco fine-dining on the beach. Whatever your choice, our chefs aim to please. But an exceptional dining experience is not all that we offer.
