Full-bodied in texture, it offers up loads of blueberry, blackberry and raspberry fruit intermixed with some cedar, vanilla and a touch of spring flowers. Impressively built, with good acidity and light tannin, this is a superb example of wine that reaches its prime in 3 or 4 years and lasts two decades. It's right up there with their brilliant 2005.

The 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Deus Ex Machina is a blend of 60% Grenache aged in foudre (from close to 100-year-old vines) and 40% Mourvedre aged in demi-muids. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by incredible notes of cassis, roasted meats, licorice, toasted spice and a liquid rock-like minerality.

Full-bodied, massive and concentrated, yet also seamless, elegant and incredibly polished, it flows onto the palate with building tannin, no hard edges and perfect balance. I wouldn't be surprised to see this merit a perfect rating in the future, and it should hit prime-time drinking around age 10, and have 20-25 years of overall longevity. It's one of the few wines to hit this level of quality in the vintage.

CARRUADES DE LAFITE 2009. Superb bright flavors. The mouth gradually takes shape, full-bodied and generous at first, then presenting ripe tannins, well-developed structure and a very fruity finish.

MASSETO 2014. 94 Points Monica Larner - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. The cool summer season has shaped fresh berry notes of wild blackberry and cassis with drying mineral, tobacco, licorice and tar.

There is evident sweetness here in terms of the wine's fruit flavors and its tannins, but there also is a cooling vein of acidity that makes the difference. The alcohol feels integrated and light. If you are hankering for a less massive and less muscular Masseto, this vintage is for you.

The Kirkland Signature Columbia Valley Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon begins with aromas of blackberry and spice and it's oh so nice. Swirling and sniffing further reveals a little mint and more dark fruit.

Tasting reveals a big, juicy, flavorful wine that drinks way over it's price. There's plenty of oak influence here as well so its best to give it some time to breathe when you first pop it open. Firm tannins, good acidity and more dark fruit and spice lead into the long, dry finish.

FRATELLI VITAE CHARDONNAY 2015. MYR 126.00. Chardonnay. India.

Straw coloured with light green reflections, the wine has citrus aromas of orange and lemon with subtle notes of white flowers. On the palate, Fratelli Chardonnay exemplifies great balance. It reflects the freshness and minerality of the sandy soils it is grown on. An east-west sun exposure ensures proper ripeness and thus, good acidity. The use of French oak lends roundness and buttery notes on the finish.

CHATEAU CALON SEGUR 2003. Exhibits a dense ruby / purple color, a vigorous youthfulness, and plenty of mulberry, black currant and cherry fruit intermixed with notions of cedarwood, baking spices and roasted herbs.

Ripe, medium to full-bodied, fresh and precise. Robert Parker - Generous and rich, this high class, full-bodied wine will undoubtedly be more approachable than its closest spiritual sibling.

CHATEAU PHELAN SEGUR 2009. The best Phelan-Segur since the 1990, this is a rather dense, full-bodied, massive wine for a cru bourgeois.

Sweet blackberry and black raspberry fruit intermixed with crushed rock and a hint of subtle oak jump from the glass of this full-bodied, intense, yet attractive and alluring wine. There is significant depth and substance to this Phelan-Segur, which is a sleeper of the vintage that should last up to 15 or more years.

Deep hued rose. It comes from a renowned Parker rated estate in Bordeaux's revered Haut-Medoc.

Using a classic Cabernet Merlot blend, cool fermented, it's brimful of bright berry fruit and zip. Merlot-based blend. Ripe red berry aromas with a hint of cassis, Crisp, mouthwatering redcurrant, strawberry and raspberry fruit.
