Achieve The Look

Holly Slipcovered Mini Sofa With Skirt We have an armchair from this series and are very pleased with it - as is our 100+ pound Akita who likes to call it his own occasionally. In the past couple of years we have not noticed any breakdown in the cushions despite the occupants, so I doubt your cat will have much of an impact.

The slipcovers wash up well, and with pets in the house I would not get cloth covered furniture without a slipcover. Overall I would say your sofa should hold up well and achieve the look you are after.

Less Expensive

Good curtains are usually lined. Lining means heavy curtains have a light curtain attached to it. Heavy curtains face the room side. Sheer/ light curtains face the window side/ sunlight.

Light curtains are of light colours (white/ cream/ baize) as light colours do not fade. During day time only sheer / light curtains are drawn. During night for privacy heavy curtains should be drawn. For public areas, lobby, restaurant rich, colourful, expensive and heavy curtains are used. For room light colours, less expensive material can be used.

House Tinted Review

House tinted review. I tinted our living room windows just a couple of weeks ago.

Got the mirror film from Bunnings and put it up in one afternoon. It doesn't darken the room too much, we did our windows more for the privacy rather than heat efficiency. Two photos attached, the fist one shows the effect of the film side by side with an untinted panel, second photo is the finished window.

House Window Tinting

Housing window tinting is fast gaining in popularity across the world. Sunlight is essential for plant growth and keeps us warm.

But an excess of sunlight or a direct exposure to sunlight for many hours can affect the health and can be deeply discomforting. House window tinting does is to prevent the ultraviolet and infrared light from getting in, while allowing a part of the visible light to get through. So this keeps the temperature inside as low as possible and ensures maximum privacy for those within.

Window Film

WAY To Prevent Wood Fade.Minimizing exposure to sunlight. The key here is to reduce your hardwood floor's exposure to sunlight. The best way to accomplish this is by covering up your windows, as windows are the main source of sunlight to your floors.

Blinds, drapes, or shutters all work very well. More costly options include upgrading your windows to low emissivity glass or window film, but work very well at keeping UV rays and IR light at bay.
