Tyre rotation. Tyres are often moved from one position on the car to another to ensure even wear and tear.

Front tyres carry more of the car's weight and tend to wear out at about twice the rate of rear tyres, so rotating the tyres can extend their life. Car manufacturers differ in their recommendations, but most manufacturers advise tyres should be rotated every 8,000 to 10,000 kms.

Don't Really Like

BMW 1 Series hatchbacks We have had this car for 3 years now and don't really like it, but it does the job. You feel all the bumps in the road with this car. It's a bit pokey (the Hyundai which looks like it is much more roomier).

Every time some red warning light is flashing in the car that is another $1000-$2000 we got to pay to get it fixed!! Not cheap. We appreciate the car much more when we can squeeze into a tight car spot! Small, strong car (in accidents), easy to park Hard suspension, expensive servicing

Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional

Comparing to previous tyres, D5 has the best handling. You get a lot of road feedback from the front tyres. The braking feels progressive too. As for hard cornering, it is one of the best. There were no squeaking noise when hard cornering.

Being street tyres, these Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 get greasy after some time of long, hard driving. The excellent grip it has just amazes me. Comfortable driving experience I am having with these set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5! Gets greasy after some time of hard driving. To maintain tyre outlook, it has to be taken care of well.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres that come stock in Ferraris and M5s.. Need I give a better introduction on this wonderful , non regrettable tyres? Grip so good.. Yet not so noisy.. Some of you might think..

What a crazy fellow.. Putting a performance tyre on a MPV.. But hey.. I value my personal and family safety hence I never scrimp on tyres.. I am using 255/40R20, same size as Nissan GTR front tyres. Never regretted since. Grip so good. Price a bit on high side.. But hey..Quality. Paying for wonderfully engineered tyres from Europe.

Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. Front tyres scrub on outside which i can handle as it is a soft compound and has a bit of power coming via the front.

I intended to change tyres front to back when i found the rears were vertically split in every valley.Spoke with renault service and they told me thats one reason renault no longer use dunlop. Poor tyre for the price. Much better tyres out there without the risk.

Porsche Cayenne

Anyway, the first generation Porsche Cayenne also likes eating front tyres. Actually tyres all round as they are heavy. They consume petrol as they are heavy too.

They consume drive shaft center bearings too. Oh. A lot of V8 Cayenne have a problem with the cylinder bore liners. The aluminium silica lining is there to keep the cylinders running smooth with little friction but somehow they don't last.

Long Periods Time

KEEP YOUR TYRES OUT OF HARM'S WAY. Even when they're not being used, tyres can find themselves in hazardous terrain. Unless they are assembled and inflated, tyres should never be stored in stacks for long periods of time and you should avoid crushing the tyres under objects.

It's extremely important to keep stored tyres away from any flame, any other heat source or any substance capable of causing sparks and/or electrical discharges (i.e. battery generators). When handling tyres, it's also recommended that you wear protective gloves.
