Alfa Romeo Giulia
If you're not all about performance and want a comfortable and sensible car for daily driving, you might be better off with another luxury small car. The Alfa Romeo Giulia 2017 has a cramped rear seat, a small trunk, and a short list of features. Competitors like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 have more room for your family and friends, plenty of trunk space for your luggage, and lots of cutting-edge technology.

Mercedes Benz C
Mercedes Benz C 180 interior view. Mercedes may have had its rivals outgunned with its interior quality, but that advantage is reined in on the road. This side of an AMG C 63, the C-Class' dynamic talents are at best competitive within the segment but it remains second best to the BMW 3 Series in driver engagement and chassis balance.

Get Good Deal

Get Good Deal
Visibility wise, the BMW 3 series F30 scores really well with good sized windows. While a reverse camera is an option, I honestly don't miss it one bit as the car itself is very easy to park and manoeuvre anyway. You do get parking sensors all around, which is really all you need.
The 3 series lineup actually does have pretty good value, especially with the 5 year warranty/5 year service which is not offered by any of the other German marques. Also considering dealer promotions, you can get a good deal indeed. I personally have not had any issue with dealing with my dealer (Wheelcorp/Ingress), though I have not had pleasant experiences in the larger ones.

Engine Oil
BMW 3 Series E46 318i 2.0L (00-05).
Bavarian's finest executive saloon from 2 generations ago can be owned for a price of a 1.3L Myvi. Rear-wheel-drive goodness, will make peers envious. Parts may cost an arm and a leg. Be prepared for issues like engine oil leaks, air con compressor failing. General wear-and-tear parts are not cheap.
