Tyre Bridgestone Potenza RE050A These were OEM tyres as fitted to my Volkswagen Scirocco R. Done 30,000k's now and they're almost cooked. Won't be replacing with the same tyres as although they handle well, they are noisy. Tyre roar on all but the smoothest bitumen is just awful and has steadily increased as the tyres have worn down. Previous vehicle (also a VW) had these tyres on them from new and I replaced with Contin ental Sport Contact 3....

Continental Sport Contact 3. These tyres came standard on my 2015 A4 S Line, very disappointed, at 22000 km the road noise is unbearable, they are not worn out but i'm so over the noise i'm prepared to drop 2k to get rid of them.

ridgestone Potenza RE050A. I did 57,000 KM (35,500 miles) on a set of these tyres before they were due to be replaced. My car is a heavy car (nearly 2 tonnes) and was advised to expect 20,000 to 25,000 KM from them. At 30,000 KM they were still going strong.

I had them rotated and balanced every 5,000 KM since day 1 which i think made a huge difference to their longevity. Tyre pressure was a constant 37psi for the whole of this time and the tyres were filled with nitrogen gas from day 1. These tyres did the job. Not the best I have ever had, but with a bit of care they were made to work.

As luck would have it, there was a home decor exhibition at the Singapore Expo at the time and Inovar was offering their laminate wood flooring at the special price of $2.60 psf. It's truly a great deal, the regular price is $4 psf and Pergo's would probably go for at least $4.50 psf.
