Taps Beer Bar

Taps Beer Bar Taps is the first and only bar in the city which dedicates itself solely to craft brews. The bar is low-key and minimal, giving way to the focal point here - craft beers. There are 14 different craft beers on tap. When one runs out, it'll be replaced by another variety, keeping things fresh and exciting.

The tasting portion is a good choice for those who can't make up their minds (or first timers). After all, you will be spoilt for choices here; they have everything from Scotland's BrewDog, Australia's Mountain Goat to England's Wychwood Brewery. Our favorite is definitely the Japanese Hitachino Nest pale ale. Taps is largely responsible for the craft brews movement. They even hold a craft brew festival every year now; do check their social pages for more updates.

Providing Wide Range

Taps Beer Bar We also tried the food which is not your typical pub fare: we loved the thick-cut pita chips with hummus and tzatziki as well as the chicken and beef satay. Next time I'm in KL, I know where'll I head straight away for mellow atmosphere, good Belgian beer, and elevated bar snacks! Taps beer bar is one of the more laid-back outlets in changkat. It's located along the same row as LUST.

When I first stepped in, I was greeted with various bottles of international beer lining the wall. They had everything from the Netherlands to India. Taps is infamous for providing a wide range of international beer from the tap. They constantly update their menu and you'll never know what will be in stock for each visit.

Taps Beer Bar

Taps Beer Bar f your looking for a vast range of imported beers then head on over to Taps beer bar. This is the only joint in kl which provide an extensive menu of draft beers fresh out of the tap; be it australian or dutch, you can be sure to get it here. TAPS from what I gather is simply a family business which grew to big landing its name on international websites & blogs. This establishment provides a very casual & semi-completed look which is the outlook they are going for.

You can be sure to check out their house specialties on the chalk board & ask for a few samplers. Pretty similar to the experience you get from visiting breweries. TAPS bar stands as one of the main distributors of selected imported beers to chic restaurants & cafes in the city. The pricing here is reasonable

Taps Beer Bar

Taps Beer Bar When a meeting landed us at TAPS Beer Beer, I didn't bother toning down my obvious delight. I got into craft beer ages ago, when the only couple of options in what was such a niche category were Sierra Nevada and Fat Tire. Not bragging; just establishing legitimacy! The beer selection at TAPS is pretty impressive and definitely interesting, and someday will probably even be excellent.

For now, I'm loving the Japanese Hitachino presence (signage everywhere!) though I was mildly disappointed that they were out of Hitachino Nest White Ale the night we were there. But it all worked out because I was forced to try something new. The Barbãr Belgian Honey Ale rose to the occasion with its floral, citrus, and golden honey notes. And at 8% ABV, it packed a bit of a punch!

Taps Beer Bar

Taps Beer Bar. Beginners should sample the berry-red Mikkeller Kvindelob 10K (RM26 per glass) from Denmark; a pleasantly agreeable craft beer that has a floral, fruity bouquet and a mildly sweet mixed berries profile edged with the barest tinge of bitterness.

Another viable choice is Thornbridge Wild Swan White Gold Pale Ale (RM29 per bottle), a pale golden ale with subtle lemony aroma and refreshing herbaceous and spice accents.
